Having personally walked the path of overwhelming experiences, I deeply empathize with the obstacles you encounter. However, I also know firsthand the incredible feeling of breaking free from those limitations and flourishing in life.
“I was about 13. It was a hot, African summer’s day, and our athletics trainer was pushing us beyond what felt comfortable for me. Suddenly and without warning, my reality shifted. I was no longer running. Rather, I felt as though something was running me. I felt a sense of effortlessness and freedom that I hadn’t experienced before.
That was my first taste of what is called a flow state, or coherence. A state that emerges when our inner systems are harmoniously aligned to facilitate optimal functioning and increased resilience. As we now know, one of the key ingredients to living a successful, meaningful life, is resilience. Fast forward to 2013. To my amazement, I discovered that it was possible to access various degrees of that flow state at will, by consistently practising powerful, yet simple techniques.”
